Ageing Asia Investment Forum 2010 has generated much publicity and interest in Asia’s imminent “Ageing Crisis”. The two-day CEO level business conference brought together over 200 top business, government and voluntary welfare organisation leaders - industry captains from 16 countries and 26 business sectors - to tap opportunities and seek solutions to this ‘crisis’.

The following collection of article excerpts reflects some of the needs and wants of today’s baby boomers, social developments & changes, and how these could translate into business opportunities for those keen to capitalize on the ageing market.

Property developers in the region have also moved ahead with projects catered to the needs and wants of a new generation of baby boomers, exploring the idea of providing different levels of care beyond the confines of traditional nursing homes.
